Travel the World with "Music Voyager"


Now airing worldwide

Music Voyager
, a new music and travel show hosted by Cumbancha founder and Putumayo A&R head Jacob Edgar, is now airing on public television stations throughout the US and can be viewed on National Geographic's Music and Adventure cable channels across the world. Check the list below to see if the show is on your local station. If you don't find it listed, get on the phone or write a letter to your station telling them "I want my Music Voyager!".

The series follows Jacob as he travels the globe searching out unexpected adventures and surprising discoveries that unveil the magic and mystery of music from near and far. With local musicians as his guide the first season takes our host to India, Jamaica, and on a special journey across the United States following GRAMMY nominees on their road to the red carpet.

Music Voyager is also airing special webisodes on iTunes as a video podcast. Watch a solo performance by Bela Fleck, get out on the Louisiana bayou with Cedric Watson and the Magnolia Sisters, be in the studio for a beautiful performance by Grammy winner's India.Arie and Dobet Gnahore backed up by Idan Raichel and Blue Miller, and hang out with Buckwheat Zydeco.
